Sarcastic journal entries for the vampires in the film. Do not expect this to be intelligent or angsty. This are superficial parodies. Fun and no brains. Inspired by Cassandra Claire’s Very Secret Diaries (LotR).

Very funny. Humour sharp, witty and full of quotable one liners. Brill!

Pre-Michael, another boy tries to steal Star's attention away from the Lost Boys, but Star, so recently trapped, isn't entirely balanced.

I am the "Red" who signed below. This is my favourite Star piece. EVER. It is really rather difficult to anything that captures my perception of Star fully, and this does that. She's a rather complex piece of work, and you write her human but relatable.

Author's Response: Thanks so much, Red. Though it took me awhile to really start figuring her out and therefore liking her, I really started to adore her over the years since I first watched the movie. It\'s easy to write her off as weak or pointless or manipulative, as so many fans do, but there\'s a lot more to her than that. These days, pretty much the only LB fic I write focuses on her, because I think there\'s so much to explore. I\'m really glad you like how I\'m writing her!

Set on Halloween in 1987, a half-crazed David seeks revenge on Star through an innocent girl for the destruction of his pack.

Interesting look at a crazy David. I like how your specific character wasn't taken with David; merely confused and terrified. The "Milk Carton Tale" was a great, haunting title; drawing upon a single story of the many posters/adverts littering Santa Carla for the missing dead. The mocking of the party goers was quite chilling; leading to the death of an innocent, unusual girl. Sad yet great.

Awww. Bitter, brittle, sad, yet quite triumphant in its climax. A well written piece, with a clever, human premise. Star is one of my favourites; its always great to see more of her POV.

You captured Santa Carla in its full swing with great lanuage choices, and I loved Star's meeting with the lost boys. Her family life wasn't tragic but merely bittersweet, but had made her trusting and unsure of the real world; a great tie in to her potential fate with the Boys. For some odd reason, I completely dig the idea of Star knowing a lot about bikes. XD

Odd, but my favourite part was the introducation of Paul! :D
It was small, but seemed really..."paulish." Yeah, I need to get out more.

Still, nice fic, good, solid writing and a unusual take on Star!

Set immediately after the movie; Michael has to supervise cleanup and face the decision of how to get rid of the bodies...rated PG-13 for general weirdness and dark humor and language ; Also David is featured but not exactly an interactive character. That's all I'm saying.

Oh, that was GREAT. Manic Star, undead Grandfather, freaked out, tramuatized Michael...and a smirking stuffed David. A tad morbid, but entertaining and original all the same. Brilliant work.

Ohhh...certainly an unique, chilling, disturbing take on David's changing. It was well written, and the characterisation was excellent. There seemed to be a lash of black humour in there as well...(that weird, hairless monster calling David "son..." XD)

Brill work.

Detached, yet powerful by being so. I love how Star makes herself removed from the killings in order to survive; her understated emotion was realistic, and terrible for being so.

Nice work!

A vampire gets freaked. Turns out there are more darker things in the world then him.

Characterisation of Paul was spot on; the enigma of the picture was subtle, frightening; it is deeply effective when the supernatural faces itself, and becomes fearful of its own nature. Nice observation, I dare say!

Aw. Very wistful and bittersweet; liked your analogy of Laddie's potential fate and Star's love for Michael.

Agh! Raw, painful, and greatly done. Your simplistic, character driven prose really hammered home the emotion, and confusion, of poor Star and just made me *hate* David. I liked your characterisation-Star was very much like she was in the film...unsure, a little out of her depth, and you made her voice relatable. David was spot on...subtle, charming, with that thinly veiled threat and engaging charisma. I don't like David/Star...but your take on them was hardly a love match. XD

Brill work.

Paul wins a night of being leader of the Lost Boys. Hilarity at David's expense ensues.

Ah. I read this ages ago, and was struck about how good it was.Now I've found it again; my afternoon must have been made!

Its human, desperate, and beautifully told. The quasi-awkward budding of thier romance is natural, bittersweet, and underscored with a horrid, sharp poignance that really does bring flavour to the piece.

The Max cameo was great. I was snickering though that.

Well observed. well constructed, and steeped in a quiet, steely despair, this is a great fic and character piece.
Red

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I was really hoping the despair came through, so I\'m particularly glad to hear that it did.
